Introducing

Owner and Principal of the Netherlands de baas Language School in the Netherland.

Margriet van Baasbank has a master degree in Cultural Anthropology. After working on several development projects in Asia where she enjoyed working with children and young people, she became a first degree teacher Civics back in the Netherlands. While working in highschool she missed the ‘other cultures’ and got her degree in teaching Dutch as a second language and combined her work with teaching Dutch to refugees. In 2017 she opened a school for learning Dutch and works there together with her husband, who prepares refugees for the labourmarket, and 14 other teachers. She enjoys the gathering of all different cultures in her school and tasting as much different foods as possible. She is a mother of five in a combined family.
