Learning is a human right (Haqy Ataelam)
The number of Syrians in the countries of asylum and expatriates has exceeded more then six million, most of them are families with many children, and given the limited educational centers in the refugee camps, which formed an increasing number of students deprived of schools during the last years of the war in Syria, and given the importance of the educational sector and in cooperation with the “Al-Waey International Academy ”, special courses in languages, basic sciences and other fields have been prepared in an effort to persevere generations in learning and speaking the mother tongue with living languages and bridging the gap left by the periods of dropping out of the scholes.
In coordination and cooperation with schools and relevant educational structures in the places of the target group, the “I Have to Learn” project for voluntary education will provide important support and a virtual contribution to learning Arabic and English languages and basic sciences such as mathematics, physics, biological and environmental sciences, as part of a promising plan that contributes to the formation of collective cultural and social networks that enhance the culture of work. Team and voluntary, and it draws aspirations for a productive and collective future that is beneficial, thus contributing to the adoption of a culture of cooperation and partnership, making the desired future and choosing an effective destiny for future generations, and an opportunity to confirm the rights and duties of the Syrian refugee, who was born with a nature and a creative psyche that seeks development and work and does not accept laziness or isolation and acceptance of aggressive paths.
Description of the project and its activities:
The group of students is connected somewhere (access centers) through a hall equipped with computers for a number of 16-20 students, and the teacher provides them through the Internet with educational lessons in the required disciplines according to the education in its interactive (online) or individual (offline) forms.
